The Phosphorus Filter PhosTec
The filling water for natural pools is often rich in nutrients. Phosphorus is a particular problem as it causes increased algae growth in natural pools. Following a two year test phase, Biotop now offers the phosphorus filter “PhosTec” to treat filling water where required. The UK water supply tends to be high in Phosphorus, and is especially so in areas where deliberate phosphorus dosing occurs as a means to prevent lead dissolving out of pipework.
“PhosTec” filters are available in five different sizes and the appropriate model depends on both the volume of your pool, and the results of a water quality test, which we can arrange on your behalf.
