Description:
Before being redesigned the property was an old orchard. For years surplus construction materials had been stored there. Stinging nettles and a wilderness of alder, willow and birch had taken over and the old fruit trees had aged without being trimmed regularly. Thus, many of the old trees had to be cleared; only an old cherry tree and some other fruit trees could be kept. In designing the property, a number of hedges were planted. Next to a freely growing hedge on the edge of the property, which offers privacy, various hedges provide the borders for individual garden rooms, resulting in a diverse garden landscape. Five different seating areas were distributed around the garden, providing a variety of spots for relaxing and socializing. A path around the pool opens up various views of the garden and natural pool.
