The team from the Haas Company from Wangen-Roggenzell in Baden-Württemberg was confronted with a large garden landscape. In addition, the property, home to a dilapidated pool, could only be reached via a floodplain next to the Danube. The slightly sloping area was graduated with dry stone walls with stones chosen in Kassel together with the customer. The walls of the existing basin made of concrete were used for the natural pool and the area around the pool was raised to reach a water depth of two meters.

To save the very old trees on the property the use of big machines was ruled out. The construction supervisor had the impression that the natural pool was literally “operated into” the trees. As everything had to be done very carefully many interesting details spontaneously came up: a shower comes out of a wall stone into which a hole had been drilled through and a smaller stone next to it was turned into a soap dish. A limestone slab seems to lie on the edge of the pool by coincidence and forms - planned in advance, of course - the crossing between shower and pool. This is absolutely thrilling for the family dog. The Daniels family, who heard about the Haas Company from other natural pool owners, has also fallen in love with the pool. The only thing preventing the pool from being awarded The Design Frog King was the jury.
