The Geist family, who contracted the Hoffmann Company from Markheidenfeld in Baden-Württemberg to plan and build their natural pool, also had only a very small space available. The construction supervisor of the Hoffmann Company was surprised how much Mr. Geist already knew about natural pools. Thus they didn’t beat around the bush and immediately got down to business. The construction supervisor provided a sketch and hit the nail on the head – That’s how easy planning a pool can be.

The jury was impressed with the perfectly integrated stone stairs and the flood lights installed along the path. The relatively small garden truly makes it seem as though the surroundings have been intensely designed. The slim gabions which are located between the hedges to screen the garden from view are a lovely design feature. Biotop boss Petrich, who monitored the result eight weeks after completion, couldn’t believe his eyes when he saw how much the water plants had already grown. The Hofmann Company simply did everything right, yet they did not receive the Design Frog King this time.
