Description:

As the old swimming pool no longer met technical and hygienic demands, in 1993 the town council decided to convert the outdoor pool into a Natural Pool.
The existing pool was expanded to twice the original size and an equally large regeneration zone was added. A water filter and a shallow water area for small children was built, the cement surfaces were replaced with wooden docks and the snack bar building was renovated. The situation since the opening in 1994 has been very positive. The number of guests compared to the former swimming pool has risen by approximately 30 percent. Operating costs are covered, which means there are no further costs for the town council. The Radnig Natural Pool has become an "in" meeting place and keeps its snack bar open all year round. In wintertime the frozen surface is used for alpine curling and ice skating.
