Description:
As Banana Lake in Schwoich was closed by the health authorities due to reasons of hygiene, the community was forced to act. After viewing several recreation areas it was immediately obvious to the town council that a Natural Pool system would be the best solution for revitalizing Banana Lake.
The approximately 2,000 m² lake was resealed and furnished with regeneration zones, wooden docks, a pebble beach, and filtered through an external Plant Filter system.
In the course of renovations the entire recreational area was newly designed.
It is not surprising that the number of guests rose sharply already in the first year of operation. The initial reservations expressed by the health authorities were dispelled after the first year.
