Description:
The existing outdoor community pool in Sarleinsbach (Upper Austria/Austria) was becoming old and dilapidated, and was situated in a crowded location After intensive discussion the Sarleinsbach town council decided to build an "S-Park" with a swimming pond.
The "S" of S-Park Sarleinsbach stands for the German words for swimming, games and fun (Schwimmen, Spiel and Spass). The central building located between the tennis courts and the natural swimming pond is the focal point of the S-Park. The central entrance, tennis club rooms, buffet, changing rooms, showers and toilets are situated in the building. An additional building with showers and toilets was built in direct proximity to the swimming pond area.
With its wooden piers, pebble beach, separate area for children and toddlers, wooden diving tower and a floating islnd, the swimming pond sets the stage for swimming pleasure and adventure.
