The Albergo Locanda Casanuova is a small but nice hotel in the middle of Tuscany. It used to be an old, run down farmhouse which was renovated with care and has now become a hot spot in Italy, in particular for artists. The open park is literally made for a natural pool. This way the hotel offers another possibility for its guests to relax. The guests wander about the garden down the slope until they reach the pool which is situated behind a small wood. There they can let their mind wander while listening to the humming of the dragonflies. Or they can go for a swim, philosophize, or maybe go swimming and philosophize at the time, or vice versa.
The guests get to know each other quickly while setting the large wooden tables and eating there. Casanuova is a place of getting together and exchanging thoughts, it’s a place of activity and relaxation as well as of joy and improvisation. Water is simply a part of that.
This property perfectly shows that natural pools are also fantastic for the Mediterranean climate.
