Only one part of the foundation walls of the old pool, which dates back to the 70ies, remained to separate the swimming and the cleaning area. You can still see it shining through the crystal clear water surface like an ancient relict. Since Ewald Palzer had seen a natural pool on a fair for the very first time he had fallen in love with the idea of having one himself. When the natural pool Aschauerweiher in Bischofswiesen was built he contracted the natural pool experts (including the planner and the performing company) at once.
Not even one year later the pool, which was built on a lovely mountain terrace, looked as if it had always been there. It looks like a natural biotope due to its lush planting in the regeneration zone, except for the crystal clear water surface.
Even those guests who do not particularly like to swim enjoy being at the pool. They wander about the smoothly curved silver wooden bridge that connects the deck with the opposite bank, or the sit on small benches and simply enjoy the harmony and tranquillity of this place. The increasing number of guests shows that they like to relax up there.
