Description:
The site is on a steep slope above Lake Zürich. The architect knew how to make a virtue out of necessity and designed an exciting combination of modern house and Natural Pool.
The spring comes out of a terrace wall and first flows into a round pond next to the greenhouse. The overflow of this pond goes into the large Natural Pool, which is situated approximately one meter below. The spacious wooden deck is for sun bathing, where the warm stones of the dry wall radiate additional warmth. Lake Zürich lies far below in the background. Sitting in the greenhouse at a cozy breakfast one has the impression that the Natural Pool goes directly into Lake Zürich.
A surface skimmer automatically cleans the surface of the water, from there the water is pumped back to the spring.
