| New Partners Worldwide
In 2007, after not only having found a new partner company for Great Britain with the company Woodhouse Ldt., but a master license partner as well, other countries followed along in 2008. Two Germans who had emigrated to New Zealand founded Natural Pools NZ Ltd., an Englishman living in Spain was looking for a home for the natural pool with Natural Pools España, and Epur Nature S.a.r.l. took over the master license for France. In England as well, besides Will Woodhouse, there is an additional partner: Poolscape Ltd. in Hereford, 200 kilometers west of London. As is customary in the Natural Pools Group, staff members of these companies received initial training immediately after signing the contract.
Hans Brutscher and Alex Traut knew the natural pool intimately when they worked for a partner company of Biotop in Germany. In the meantime they have lived for years in New Zealand a matter of the heart and are convinced that in a country which has such a great density of swimming pools, there are good market opportunities for the natural pool. When they visited Biotop for the contract signing and training they had the chance to become acquainted with the innovation “Biotop Pool“. This product in particular could serve as a helpful introduction to the market, as it looks like a traditional pool, but is naturally chemical-free. The two of them had sufficient time to prepare themselves for the construction of natural pools, as the season for gardening companies springtime begins in September down under. The first pools should easily be built by Christmas ...
The next training seminar was purely an English affair: Jed Webb with his employee Peter Miles from Hereford in England and Graham Boswell with his construction manager Mark Anderson from Estepona in southern Spain followed the seminar held by Biotop boss Peter Petrich with great attention, as both new partners hope to realize their first projects this season. Interest apparently abounds. Will Woodhouse, master licenser for Great Britain, also attended the seminar. He wants to hold the next training session in Cambridge, as several companies in Great Britain have already inquired about licenses. It looks promising that a number of new companies will become partners of the Natural Pool Group this year.
This brings us to the last contract signing, which came to pass due to an old personal contact between Peter Petrich and the German Dirk Esser, who has lived in France for many years.
A cooperation that had been planned for years only came to fruition this summer. This is because when taking on new partners, it is important to Biotop to be able to devote time and effort to these companies. Christian Pietri from the company Epur Nature, for which Dirk Esser does consulting, not only became a partner, but also master licenser for France. With its two locations, and together with the company Sarl Nénuphar, which has worked with Biotop for years, Epur Natur covers the entire southern region of France. Partner companies are being sought for the rest of the country and Christian Pietri and Dirk Esser are optimistic that they will find five additional companies by 2009 to offer Biotop’s Natural Pool system. However, the iron law that applies for the entire Group also applies for France: quality before quantity, both in building natural pools as well as in selecting partner companies. Allons-y, Christian et Dirk!
