Our technology leadership is once again confirmed by two newly patented innovations: The curved sieve skimmer and the submerged pump house.

• The curved sieve skimmer is a milestone in skimmer development. The qualities of the animal friendly skimmer are maintained and a cleverly devised mechanism removes even the slightest impurities.
  
  
• The submerged pump-house: Biotop offers a pump-house with a completely new concept. This is innovative, because the pump is not placed in a “dry” enclosure; a submersible pump is installed in a flooded pump-house. The main advantage: there is almost no noise from the pump.

Both innovations can be combined with each other or with existing technology. Refitting or modification is exclusively carried out by licensed partner companies.
