Reference Pools:

Pool Design Frog King.

For over ten years the Design Frog King Prize is awarded at the annual meeting of the Biotop Natural Pools Group. Each partner has five minutes to present one of the pools it has built. The colleagues, who are extremely critical, vote for the project they consider the best. Here not only perfect execution of the pool is important, but also the various circumstances that have to be coped with in the planning and construction. The more complicated the initial situation, the more good will is shown by the jury towards the projects presented.

Design Frog King 2011

This year the Swiss company "egli jona" was clearly ahead and succeeded with a pool that had a difficult slope to overcome. Mr. Egli solved the task by building a double wall in the regeneration zone and a garden house of exactly the same size, which served to house the owner's pool equipment. The jury was particularly impressed with the wide stairway into the swimming area.

Design Frog King 2010

Cem Sirin from Cem Botanik in Turkey was a nose ahead. He described the heartache of a Turkish "princess" (in modern designer dress) who didn't want to live in the castle that her husband had built slightly outside of Istanbul for her. Design Frog King 2009

Was it Kristina Heinrichs’ charming words in ending the presentation of the natural pool from the company Gartenhof Küsters, or did the quality of design and perfect execution convince the jury of the design competition for the Most Beautiful Natural Pool 2009? Probably it was a combination of both that contributed to Biotop’s partner company from Neuss winning the Design Frog King.
