Natural Pool in the Eifel Mountains:

Winner of the Design Frog King 2009.

The task comprised both the natural pool and the architectural design of the garden, as well as taking account of the wishes of the parents as well as the children their teens and twenties. The garden offers shady spots under trees, lawns for picnic blankets, a wooden deck for sun bathing, and isolated seating away from the madding crowd. To compensate for the enormous height differential in the terrain, the surrounding area had to be terraced to create a comfortable and attractive access from the house to the pool.
